How to Calculate:

Drive Ratio = Primary Trans. Ratio x Vehicle Differential (Ring & Pinion) Ratio x Dual Range Ratio

Example: Vehicle equipped with a 4.10 differential AND Dual Range Overdrive Transmission would have the following final drive ratio in Overdrive:

Final Drive Ratio = 1.00 (3rd Gear) x 4.10 (differential) x 0.80 (Dual Range) = 3.28
